Financial Aid

CFI offers financial aid to those in need. An approved Financial Aid application will reduce the fees of the Self-Study subscription by 50%.

To learn more about financial aid terms and conditions and how to apply, please read below.

In this article, these are the frequently asked questions regarding the Financial Aid:

What Is Financial Aid ^

At CFI, we believe the opportunity for education should be accessible to everyone. We aim to make our subscription plans fairly priced but look for ways to get learners from low economies and challenging professional backgrounds on board.

While we can only approve financial aid for some due to availability, we encourage applicants to share their stories with us for a chance of getting approved.

Once approved, applicants will receive a unique 50% off coupon code that can be used on our checkout page for the self-study subscription.

The self-study subscription has access to CFI's entire course catalog, which could provide life-changing education to our learners who want to pursue the finance industry.

How to Apply ^

For the application, learners must complete a minimum of 6 free prep courses offered by CFI. You may enroll in our free courses HERE.

This is to ensure that you understand our content and the teaching and delivery are right for your learning style. Once you finish the 6 prep courses of your choice, you can proceed to fill out the financial aid form below.

All sections of the forms must be completed with accurate and true responses.*

Just so you know, we use AI technology to detect plagiarism and other content taken from websites.

The Financial Aid application process takes 2 to 3 weeks. Once a decision has been made, an e-mail will be sent to the registered e-mail address used for the application to advise on this.

*CFI reserves the right to verify the information provided on the application. Any false statements or misrepresentations made by applicants result in a reassessment or cancellation of the applicant’s financial aid. The information collected in this application will be used only for the purpose of determining financial assistance and will be kept strictly confidential.

What happens after I submit my application?

Once you have submitted your application, it will be sent to our finance team for review. They will check it for plagiarism and inaccuracies, then send the results to the student support team to share the news with you. A copy of the completed financial aid form will also be sent to your e-mail address.

The customer support team will get back to you with your results.

Approved Applications ^

If your application is approved, you will receive an e-mail confirmation with a unique coupon code to purchase the Self-Study Subscription for a discounted price.

The financial aid coupon is valid for 30 days from the issuing date and can only be used by the persoon who applied for financial aid. If you want to extend the validity of the financial aid, please send in your request via email to [email protected].

I enrolled before I was awarded financial aid. Can I apply the financial aid off to my previous enrollment?

All enrollments made before the decision has been made are not subject to the approved financial aid amount.

Can I request to re-assess my application and grant me an additional discount?

The financial aid is based on assessed financial needs, the volume of applications, and the available funding. The amount granted is final and is strictly non-negotiable.

Can I use Financial Aid with discounts or other offers?

Financial Aids cannot be combined with discounts, other promotional offers, or payment/subscription plans.

Denied Applications ^

All received applications are assessed and reviewed within 2 to 3 weeks. Applications may be denied due to various reasons, some of which are:

  • Incomplete Submission. e.g. repetitive responses across questions in the form, not meeting the word count.
  • Inaccurate/False Information. e.g. information provided in the application is found to be falsified.
  • Incomplete Prep Courses. i.e. not ALL of the free prep courses were completed, or course training is still ongoing (certificates are still not yet earned).

If your application is denied, you will receive an email outlining the details for denying your application.

Can I make an appeal to re-assess my application?

Yes, you can by ensuring that you have addressed the reason for the denied application. You may email [email protected] to review your application and submit additional documentation for further consideration.

Can I submit another application after a denied decision?

Yes, you can. However, it will be treated as a new application that is subject to the same review and assessment and the same timeframe for processing, i.e., 2 to 3 weeks.

How long does the reassessment take?

All reassessment requests take up to 7 days. You will be notified via email of the decision on the reassessment.
