Adding CFI Certificate in LinkedIn

Now that you have earned your certificates, it's time to show it off. You can add your certificate to LinkedIn so everyone can see it!

There are two ways to add your certificates to LinkedIn:

Sharing As A Post

Create a post about your credential that will appear to your connections in your LinkedIn Newsfeed.

1. Access your certificate from your dashboard: My Certifications > My Credentials > Click VIEW for one of the courses you've completed. (You will be directed to a new page to view your certificate).

2. Click on the LinkedIn Share button at the bottom of the credential window. If you are not already logged in to your LinkedIn account, you will be prompted to do so.

3. You will then be taken to LinkedIn's site, where you can choose to share as a post or as a private message.

4. Write a message to accompany your certificate in your post or message and click Post/Send.

Sharing your credential as a post will drop through the newsfeed and become less visible as time goes by.

Adding To Your Profile

1. Access your certificate from your dashboard: My Certifications > My Credentials > Click  VIEW for one of the courses you've completed. (You will be directed to a new page to view your certificate).

2. To add your credential to your LinkedIn profile, you will need to be signed in to your credential. For more information on how to do this, click here.

3. When you are signed in to your credential, you will see that the 'Verify' button on your credential view is replaced with an 'Add to LinkedIn Profile' button. Click this button

4. A pop-up will appear to confirm how you would like to share your credential. Select 'Add to my profile.'

5. Your credential information will be automatically carried over to the 'License and Certification' form in LinkedIn. Click 'Save.'

6. Your credential will then appear on your LinkedIn profile for as long as you would like it to be there, and anyone that clicks on the link will be taken straight to your credential view, where it can be verified.
